She is a member of the American Counseling Association, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the American Hypnosis Association, and the Hypnotherapists Union Local 472.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, and immigrating to the United States at the age of 2 with her parents, hers is a story of the integration of East and West, of a clash of cultures, and achieving the American Dream.  Her parents came to the United States with very little. Her father, a doctor doing his residency, and her mother, a fashion designer turned housewife, supported their family of four at the time on $350 a month for the first few years of Panney's life.  A native of Los Angeles, Panney was a champion figure skater in her youth but was forced to quit to avoid family conflict. As a result of the loss of the skating, she struggled with an eating disorder, bulimia, and survived a near-death experience that changed her life forever.  She realized that life was short, and that every moment should be spent pursuing your passions, fulfilling your purpose, and hopefully making a difference in your community and the world. She healed herself without the help of doctors using alternative medicine, using the power of hypnosis and sheer will-power. This experience gave her first-rate knowledge on the power and potential of the mind to overcome obstacles and achieve one's goals. During this time of self-discovery, Panney immersed herself in the study of world cultures and theologies studying methodologies such as Christianity, Kabbalah, mythology, astrology, Jungian psychology, Buddhism, Eastern philosophy, and transcendental meditation, all with her quest of seeking the truth.

After skating, Panney reinvented herself and followed her studies at Tufts University with a successful career in the financial and entertainment industries. Following her heart and passion to become a positive change agent in the world, she left her career to go in a completely different direction, coming full circle and taking all of her knowledge . Her dream was to start her own business, and so, Positive Changes Consulting™ was born! Panney is a member of the prestigious National Speakers Association and is the Chief Empowerment Officer of Positive Changes Consulting™, her hypnotherapy practice and professional development programs and leadership trainings that empower corporations, non-profits, and individuals to achieve success in their personal and professional lives and live the life of their dreams!  She advises corporations, non-profits, and women with success strategies to improve job performance, break through obstacles and bad habits, relieve stress through hypnosis, reprogram negative belief systems, and in a nutshell, empower, inspire, and transform the lives of her clients so that they reach their potential in their personal and professional lives.   In her private coaching practice, she serves as a “consciousness trainer”, helping men, children, and women break through obstacles, bad habits, ancestral patterns and pathology, reprogram negative belief systems, and discover the truth of who they are so they can live positive, fulfilling lives.  She hopes to inspire people to change the way they think, feel, and “be” in the world, to live their life with purpose and passion, and in particular, discover the truth of who they are so they can discover their life purpose and live the life of their dreams. Much of her work is grounded in her Chinese and American heritage, leveraging the wisdom and virtues of both cultures, where her extensive travels contribute to her global view of achieving your potential and shooting for your stars!

As a TV host, Panney brings her dynamic energy, humor, and bright personality to any project she works on. She is a sought-after expert for lifestyle  transformational, or reality TV shows and has worked with or appeared on networks such as NBA TV/TNT, Lifetime, Discovery Channel, and the new Oprah Winfrey Network.  As a writer, Panney beat out thousands of applicants to secure a position as a finalist for the CBS Diversity Writers Program and is the author of several audios, articles, meditation CD’s, and an upcoming novel and self-help book on attracting real love and the love of your life. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.
